Responsible fabrication

At Allseas Fabrication, we are committed to making changes in our operations to reduce our carbon footprint. That means sourcing our energy needs from cleaner, renewable sources, such as solar, and refining our production processes in such a way that we keep our emissions to a minimum.

Solar power
We have fitted our production halls and warehouses in Heijningen with hundreds of solar panels. Covering a total area of more than 1500 m², the panels provide uninterrupted power for on-site equipment and machinery.

Reducing emissions
We continue to look for ways to further reduce emissions in our production processes. Measures taken include total insulation of all walls, floors and roofs, a switch to LED lighting, underfloor heating systems, double and triple glazed windows and heat recovery systems through the production and storage areas.

Self-generated electricity
For more than six months of the year, during spring and summer, Allseas Fabrication runs entirely on self-generated electricity. In 2020 alone, we have generated over 300 megawatts of solar power energy, delivering a carbon emission saving of more than 161,000 kg.

This is good for the environment, our business and our customers. By diversifying our energy sources, we can keep production costs low and pass on further savings to our customers.

Allseas Fabrication complies and is certified in accordance with:

  • ISO 9001 (2015) – Quality Management System – Certified by Lloyds Register
  • ISO 14001 (2015) – Environmental Management System – Certified by Lloyds Register
